Tibetan sites inside Second Life

Reader Gordon Laird writes,
Great reporting and blog work. I did a similar journalism adventure in 1999, mostly reporting for the Far Eastern Economic Review and a number of North American newspapers. I particularly liked your photo of Drak Yerpa, one of my favorite sites in Tibet.More about the Milarepa Land Trust here: Link.Drak Yerpa, and other sites, also exist in the virtual world Second Life, through the Milarepa Land Trust. I have been building Indo-Tibetan sites in SL for over a year now with friends, in the hope that bringing these sites into virtual worlds will expand the medium, provide benefit, and cultivate community. We are also in the process of organizing a complete Buddhist sim (about 16 virtual acres, a very small continent) for all dharma traditions, which should be launched this fall.
So when you return and become homesick for the Himalayas, you can log into Second Life.
